10/13/24 at 6:35am Taunton was dispatched to a motor vehicle accident with injuries in the 5000 block of Onondaga Rd. Per police the vehicle struck a guard rail and went off the road approximately 40’ into a ravine. Taunton Car 1 arrived confirming the vehicle was occupied with entrapment. Ladder 5 (DC Harris) stabilized the vehicle and extricated the sole occupant. Onondaga Hill Fire Department was requested to the scene to assist with extrication and setting up a rope rescue system. The sole occupant was rapidly extricated from the vehicle, loaded into a stokes basket and hauled to the street.
