Both Stations Respond to Multiple Accidents With Injuries

10/20/24 at 19:23 hours this evening, Taunton was activated for an MVC-Rollover in the first due. Initial callers reported a Jeep rolled over, in the ditch, with possible entrapment. Taunton Car 1 (Chief Phelan) responded and arrived to find one vehicle in the ditch, with the driver self-extricated. Ladder 5 (Captain Martin) responded and upon arrival initiated patient care and addressed vehicle hazards. Rescue 1 (FF J. Duck) and Engine 4 (FF Nuzzo) arrived shortly behind the Ladder. Engine 6 (LT. Hind) and M1 (FF Lawrence) were re-directed by Car 1 to the area of Fay RD for a second vehicle that was possibly involved in the collision. Rescue 2 (Captain Rudiger) assisted OCSO with traffic control. AMR was also on scene and all Taunton units cleared by 20:00 hours.
