Chief and Engine Company Respond To Solvay Commercial Fire

4/22/23 at 4:42hrs this morning Taunton was dispatched mutual aid to the Solvay Fire Department for a reported structure fire at the Hooka Lounge in the 1400blk of Milton Ave. Car 1 (Chief Phelan) and Engine 6 (FF Flynn) responded. Taunton was tasked with a primary search of the structure and assisted with ventilation. At 12:13hrs Taunton Engine 6 (Captain Harris) and Car 1 responded back to the scene after the fire flared up above the drop ceiling. Taunton units assisted Solvay with fire suppression and overhaul.
