Chief and Ladder To Working Fire At Target

6/28/24 at 18:40 hours the evening, Taunton units were activated for a possible Commercial Fire in the Fairmount Fire District, at Target. Taunton Ladder 5 (LT. M. Duck) & Car 1 (Chief Phelan) handled the alarm. Fairmount Car 1 arrived and reported a heavy smoke condition inside the store, with an active sprinkler system. Subsequently, a Signal 99 was transmitted. Taunton’s crew assisted with overhaul and ventilation. Units are still operating on scene and the cause of the fire is unknown.
