Engine Company Responds To Solvay Residential Fire

1/9/21 at 8:58hrs Taunton was dispatched mutual aid to the Solvay Fire Department along with Fairmount Fire Department Truck 1 for a reported residential fire in the 200blk of Woods Rd with a female trapped. Car 1, Car 2 and Engine 6 responded on dispatch. Car 2 arrived with smoke showing and confirming a female trapped on the second floor. The trapped occupant was assisted out of the residence and evaluated by AMR ambulance. Car 1 arrived assuming the command with fire showing and shortly after declaring a signal 99 working fire. Engine 6 assumed the first due engine company role securing a water supply and stretching a hose line into the structure. Companies operated on scene for approximately 1 hour.
