Engine Company To Solvay Minor Fire

2/10/24 at 08:50 hours this morning, Taunton units were activated for a reported house fire in the Westvale neighborhood of the Solvay Fire District. Taunton Engine 4 (Deputy Chief Harris) handled the alarm. Solvay Engine 21 arrived first due and reported smoke showing, stretching a handline and extinguishing the fire. Due to the quick response and aggressive fire attack made by Solvay units, Taunton Engine 4 simply supplied manpower for a brief time. Engine 4 returned to service within the hour.
