7/25/22 at 23:15 hours last night, Camillus Fire and mutual aid were dispatched to a possible structure fire. Camillus Car 1 arrived with heavy fire showing and gave the “Signal 99” dispatch. At 23:25, Taunton Engine 6, staffed in quarters, was added to the assignment due to the heavy fire load, as well as adverse weather conditions. Taunton Engine 6 (Chief Hess) handled the alarm. Engine 6’s crew operated on scene for roughly 3 hours, working to bring the fire under control. Engine 6’s crew assisted with fire suppression, “opening up” and extensive overhaul.
