Engines and Deputy Chief Respond To Fairmount Box Alarm

1/19/23 at 13:08hrs, Taunton was dispatched for a reported residential fire in the Fairmount Fire district. Taunton Engine 94 (Capt. Harris), Taunton Engine 4 (FF Wilbur) and Fairmount Engine 4 were out on dispatch. Fairmount engine 4 arrived first due and reported smoke showing, requesting Taunton Engine 94 to secure the hydrant. Taunton Car 2 (Chief Amidon) assumed the command. Units found an active dryer fire and reduced the assignment to Fairmount Engine 4, Truck 1 and Taunton Engine 94.
