1/31/22 at 12:16 hours this afternoon, Taunton was activated for a possible Residential Fire in the Sentinel Heights Fire District. Taunton Engine 4 (Captain Harris) & Car 4 (LT. Taylor) marked enroute on dispatch. Car 1 (Chief Phelan) also responded. Southwood Car 1 arrived with heavy smoke showing and Taunton Engine 6 (FF. Bassett), staffed and on the air, was added to the alarm as well. Engine 4 arrived first due, making an aggressive fire attack. Engine 6 arrived 3rd due and assisted in “opening up” as well as suppressing hot spots. Units operated on scene for approximately 2 hours before returning to service.
