3/19/24 at 11:46, Taunton was dispatched to a possible unconscious person in a vehicle at the intersection of Onondaga Rd and Onondaga Blvd. As Car 2 (Deputy Chief Harris) was responding on Onondaga Blvd near Wolf Hollow Rd the vehicle in question was traveling EB on Onondaga Blvd and proceeded to drive off the road and strike a tree head on. Taunton Car 1 (Chief Phelan), Rescue 1 (FF Metzger) and Ladder 5 (FF Messina) arrived to assist with patient care and vehicle hazards. The patient was transported by AMR and the scene turned over to the Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office.
