Stove Fire In The Upper District

6/27/24 just before 14:00 hours this afternoon, Taunton units and Fairmount Truck 1 were activated for a possible Appliance Fire. Taunton Engine 94 (Captain Martin) marked enroute on dispatch, and upon arrival, had an active oven fire. The Engine crew suppressed the fire with a water can. Taunton Ladder 5 (Captain Rudiger) also responded and assisted with ventilation. The Fairmount Truck was returned to service prior to their arrival and Taunton units cleared within the half hour.
