Chief And Engine Company To Sentinel Heights Working Fire

2/18/23 at 09:00 hours this morning, Taunton Engine 6 was activated for a possible structure fire in the Sentinel Heights Fire District. Initial 911 callers reported a fire in the residence, and also the roof of the residence being on fire. Taunton Engine 6 (Captain Harris) and Car 1 (Chief Phelan) responded on dispatch. Upon the arrival of South Onondaga Car 1, heavy fire was observed and a “Signal 99” was transmitted. Engine 6 arrived and went to work as the acting Truck Company. The fire was placed under control in approximately 20 minutes and Taunton units operated on scene for just under 3 hours.
