Ladder 5 Responds to Fairmount Box Alarm

mphelan91

9/21/20 approximately 09:22 hours this morning, Taunton was activated for a possible house fire in the Fairmount Fire district. County fire dispatch updated responding units that it was possibly an appliance on fire. Fairmount Engine 4 arrived with heavy smoke showing from the second floor and gave a “signal 99” (working fire). After a short time and an aggressive fire attack, Fairmount command held with units on scene. Ladder 5’s crew assisted with overhaul and returned to service after approximately 30 minutes.
