Sat, Aug 18th, 2018 7:17:00 pm Car 3 and Rescue 3 responded mutual aid to the South Onondaga Fire district for a motor vehicle accident with reports of the vehicle on fire and 2 individuals ejected. Taunton units arrived and initially assisted with patient care and packaging one of the patients. After that task was completed command requested Car 3 and the rescue 3 crew to set up a landing zone for the inbound Mercy Flight helicopter in an adjacent field south of the incident scene. Once rescue 3 assisted the flight crew with loading the patient in the helicopter Taunton units cleared.
